Day 62 - Ngepi Campsite, Namibia to Big Baobab Tree Bush Camp, Namibia
There was not much time to enjoy Ngepi Camp, so we were up early to beat the bathroom rush to have a little time to walk around the campsite before having breakfast and hitting the road towards our first stop at Rundu and then on to the 3rd largest baobab tree in Namibia.
We arrived in Rundu just after midday and made the most of the available stores to stock up on some snacks, pick up lunch and get ready for another bush camp.
It was a few hours drive, we reached our bush camp in the late afternoon. It was a 5 minute walk from the camp into the private game reserve where we saw the Baobab tree which is the 3rd largest in Namibia. It was an impressive sight and classified as a national monument.
It was time to get back to the camp, set up the tent before dark and enjoy the macaroni cheese and fried chicken our cook group made much to the delight of the crowd. Once all the dinner duties were done it was story telling time around the fire with toasted marshmallows before bed.
