Day 45 Nairobi to Cape Town
Warthogs Bush Camp, Lake KaribaIt was another non eventful day starting with Warthogs breakfast which was cooked by Patricia and tasted fantastic like all the other food cooked at Warthogs. We continued trying to get our blog updated but with the Internet once again got the better of us we resorted to reorganizing our gear and lounging around the pool.
Later in the day the rest of the crew returned from their houseboat trip and early in the evening we were treated to a visit and close up encounter with an elephant which wandered through the campsite, overturned one of the tents looking for food then carried on the the watering hole. Ingrid, Diana and Paul were on cook group and got permission to use the Warthogs kitchen so they could watch South Africa play USA in the rugby World Cup which which SA won convincingly. We then watched Georgia play Namibia which turned into a very close game with Georgia scrapping through in the final minutes.
