Day 33 Nairobi to Cape Town
Zanzibar to Bush Camp near Mikumi, Tanzania 240 km We were up at 04h30 and headed to the roof of the hotel for an early morning breakfast. We then left the hotel and made our way down to the Ferry Terminal for our 07h00 departure back to Dar Es Salaam. The trip overwas non eventful and took just under 2 hours. On the Dar Es Salaam side we managed to find the truck parked without any problem as a big yellow truck stands out like a sore thumb! We then had an easy drive out of town to the local Nakumatt where the cook groups grabbed supplies and we bought lunch for our drive toward Mikumi.
We arrived at our Bush Camp just before sunset and set up camp which after 4 days of no camping was amusing to say the least, we started fires for the cook group and gathered wood for the next days bush camp. After a filling dinner we had an early night ready for our trip through Mikumi National Park and on towards Malawi.
