Day 48 Nairobi to Cape Town
Antelope Park, ZimbabweWe woke to the sound of Lions roaring in the early morning hours and heard some of the guys heading out for their early morning walks with the lions, when they returned they were all a buzz with their incredible experiences which they told in great detail. Patrick took the truck to the workshop at 09h00 to changeout dashboards, repair broken parts and do some general maintenance. We sat down and continued with trying to get a couple more blogs uploaded as we hoped that the gods of 3G internet might shine a light on us. We were lucky and by the end of the day managed to get up to date with all our blogs, check in with the families and let them know we are in the land of the living.
We watched as elephants and zebra roamed around the park and a variety of birds flew back to roost before yet another incredible sunset was shown to us.
We had a bite to eat for dinner while watching Wales get beaten by Australia in RWC15 and had a well earned sleep.
