Day 30 Nairobi to Cape Town
Nungui Inn, Zanzibar, Tanzania
It was a beautiful day and we decided to spoil ourselves with a "fancy breakfast", so off we went to the Z Hotel which is a boutique hotel a couple of doors down from the Nungwi Inn for breakfast but were turned away abruptly by the Restaurant manager as we weren't guests so we tried to book a room which the reception said they had none. With the overly poor service we received we were glad we hadn't paid more to stay there and went back to the Nungwi Inn for breakfast and to update all our blogs & photos to the website for most of the day while sitting on the beach looking out at the azur blue Indian Ocean.
We met some friends for a drink, they were on honeymoon in Tanzania and Zanzibar was their last stop before returning home to Turkey.
Later in the afternoon we all boarded a sunset cruise which took us up to the northern tip of the island where we were treated to a beautiful sunset, some fantastic island music by the band on our boat and a play in the ocean. We arrived back to the Nungwi after an unforgettable evening of fun and had a couple of night caps before heading to bed.
