Day 26 Nairobi to Cape Town
Marangu Hotel to Zebra Bush Camp
We were up at 8am, tried to upload some more blogs but the internet was not fast enough. We pottered around gathering our gear for the next leg. We had lunch at the Hotel and finished checking emails.
We loaded up the truck and left Marangu around 1400 and proceeded East. We stopped along the way for local food and watched the sun go down as we entered the campsite.
As Gareth hadn't used this campsite before we took a wrong turn and got bogged down in the soft sand. It took 30 minutes, a great group effort and we managed to get free. While we were getting ourselves unstuck Al managed to swallow a bug :( not a fun day for him tomorrow! We cruised 100 meters to the camp where we had dinner and an early night.
